2014 Pre-Lenten Clergy Retreat
The 2014 Pre-Lenten Clergy Retreat took place February 12-14. Wednesday afternoon clergy from throughout the Metropolis arrived for the 2014 Pre Lenten Clergy Retreat. After a Clergy Syndesmos meeting, Metropolitan celebrated the Small Paraklesis, and invited the clergy to a festive dinner at a local restaurant.
Thursday morning began with Matins and Liturgy celebrated at Assumption Cathedral. His Eminence presided from the Throne with Father Luke Uhl as the celebrant.
After breakfast, the clergy participated in a retreat led by the Reverend Hieromonk Maximos of Simonopetra Monastery, Mount Athos. The day concluded with dinner at the Metropolis Center followed by Small Compline.
Friday morning the clergy participated in Matins, at which His Eminence presided with Father Lou Christopulos as celebrant. After breakfast, the retreat concluded with an informal paternal fireside chat between Metropolitan Isaiah, Father Maximos, and the Metropolis clergy.
